THOROUGHBRED INJURED.
JERICHO BREAKS FETLOCK. CHRISTCHURCH, March 3. Mr. George Gould’s two-year-old colt, Jericho (Archery—Judith) met with an accident at' the Riccarton tracks this morning which will probably end his racing career. Soon after the start of his morning gallop he faltered and stopped, having sustained a broken fetlock, An effort will be made to save him for stud purposes. Tiff was scratched for the cup at the Banks Peninsula meeting at 11.55 a.m. -(P.A.).
