JN PURSUANCE and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, and the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and amendments thereto and all other Acts and Authorities, it in that behalf enabling, j the Wairarapa Electric Power Board I hereby gives -public notice that it pro- ' po-scs to raise over the Wangaehu Special Rating Area a special loan of two thousand pounds (£2000) for the purpose of providing additional funds for j works, buildings, land and equipment ( necessary in connection with the gen- ’ eration, distribution and utilization of If electric energy within the Wairarapa Electric Power District. It is also proposed to pay out of the moneys so i raised the first year’s interest and sinking fund on the loan, together with the cost of raising the loan. The Wairarapa Electric Power Board proposes further:— I.—'To establish a sinking fund of one per cent, per annum to provide for the repayment of the loan on the date of its maturity. 2.—For the purpose of providing the required security and to meet the Interest and Sinking Fund charges during the currency of the said loan, which will be for a period not exceeding thirty-six and a half years, to make an annually recurring rate of three sixteenths of a penny in the pound (£) upon the capital value of all rateable property situated in the Wangaehu Special Rating Area in the Wairarapa Electric Power District. TN Accordance with the provisions of Sections 10 and 11 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” PUBLIC , NOTICE, is hereby given that a POLL of the RATEPAYERS of the WANGAEHU SPECIAL RATING AREA, referred to above, will bo taken on SATURDAY, the 26th March, 1927, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. upon the above proposal. • The Polling Booth will be situated nt—WANGAEHU SCHOOL.
