PRINCE GEORGE IN PARIS. A STAGGERING RECEPTION. (Received Tuesday, 7 p.m.) . PARIS, February 28. J. nnce George arrived at the Gare du Nord railway station to confront the greatest crowd which ever greeted a Boyal visitor to Paris. The Prince had L fe “ n b? rra g e of Photographers. The crowd thronged the entire station and streets, and barricades had to be hurriedly erected to prevent people mobbing him. All this was the result ot a curious misunderstanding of a cross-Channel telephone message which was taken to mean that Kiqg George was coming. This was published in the newspapers. The misunderstanding coincides with another mis-statemen't widely published in the Continent that lheir Majesties intended to visit South Spam dunng the spring.
