A BRITISH JIBE. MR. BRUCE ’S SPEECHES IN CANADA. (Received Tucsdav, 8.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 1. The “National Review’,” commenting on Mr. Mackenzie King’s anger towards Mr. Bruce for his speeches on naval defence while in Canada, says: “Mr. Bruce was within his rights in discussing something of moment to every subject of His Majesty. The fact that Mr. Bruce put out of joint the noses of certain ‘peanut politicians’ in and around Ottawa is less a reflection on him than on them.— (A. and N.Z.) k
