RIFLE SHOOTING.
TANSEY SHIELD COMPETITION. WON BY GREYTOWN. (“The Age” Special.) The annual competition for possession of the Tansey Shield was fired at the Papawai range on Saturday. The conditions were 15 shots at 600 yards, the best eight men from each club to count. The Greytown Club were successful with an aggregate of 542, Master-ton-Opaki being second with 535, and Featherston third with 522.
