The public of Masterton are to* be given an opportunity of hearing a stirring lecture on the above subject, delivered by Mr. E. P. Clark, of Melbourne. All who think for themselves will agree that wr are living in a time of great peril. Famous international writers toll us that pur civilisation is in danger. must be some reasonable explanation of .the cause of world-wide unrest, distress and dissatisfaction. We long for freedom from fear and the uncertainty of the future for an enduring world peace, and we ask ourselves; Will this much desired condition, be brought about in our day? The lecturer has demonstrated to large audiences in the Commonwealth and the Dominion that he* has a thorough understanding of his subject, and all who attend are assured of spending the time profitably.
