GOOD DEMAND FOR EWES. LAMBS AND CATTLE HARD TO SELL. FEILDING, February 25. Twelve thousand lambs and sheep of all descriptions wore yarded to-day. Good young ewes sold at a good advance on last week’s sale. Lambs and inferior ewes were hard to quit, but vendors met the market in most cases. Practically a total clearance was made. Fat lambs: 22/6, 24/3, 26/3. Fat ewes: 13/9, 15/3, 15/10, 18/. Eat wethers: 21/, 25/3, 25/6, 27/3, 30/. Two-tooth ewes, 25/, 28/4 (good), 34/ (superior); four and six-tooth ewes, 16/3, 19/, 25/, 27/; four-year ewes 17/; four aad five-year ewes, 6/6, 8/6, 9/3 (inferior); 13/, 14/10 (medium); 17/5, 17/10, 19/ (good); two-tooth store wethers 13/, 18/7, 20/, 21/; mixed aged ewes, 8/, 11/4, 13/1, 13/6, 17/2, 17/4; f and f ewes, 12/11; b.f. rape lambs. 15/11, 17/6; do medium, 11/3, 13/3, 3/7; medium w.f. lambs 12/3, 13/, 14/4; inferior do., 9/1, 10/6; medium m.s. lambs, 11/3, 11/6, 12/3, 14/, 15/3; inferior do, 7/8, 8/1, 8/6, 9/3. A small yarding of cattle consisted mainly of fats. All classes were hard to quit except a small good quality fat cattle.
