DROWNING FATALITIES.

AT AUCKLAND. TWO BODIES RECOVERED. AUCKLAND, February 25. The body of Robert Brown, who was drowned on February 20 when fishing in Bangitoto Channel, was recovered floating off Campbell Point this morning. The body of Ira Croxton, aged 23, who was drowned at Panmure beach through the capsizing of a canoe early last Sunday morning was discovered floating in the Tamaki River to-day. At the inquest evidence was given that • the deceased went ashore ashore from a R yacht in a collapsible canoe which capsized. A companion from the yacht w nt to his assitsance, hut lost touch ■with him. A verdict of accidental drowning was returned.—(P.A.).
