Masterton.—Mr. R. Brown reported at 9 a.m. yesterday: Barograph, 30.1; shade temperature, maximum, 54.8; minimum, 46.4; terrestrial, 42.4; rainfall, ,5 points; bright sunshine, 55mins. Solway.—Mr H. M. Boddington reported that 9 points of rain were registered at Solway for tho 24 hours up till 9 o’clock. Present indications are for decreasing southerly breezes veering by west to north; weather fair to cloudy and warmer; barometer rising, will fall soon.
