JUOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of Delegates (duly appointed under Section 113 of “The Counties’ Act, 1920”) of the
Councils of the Counties of Akitio, Pahiatua, Eketahuna, Mauriceville, Castlepoint, Masterton, Wairarapa South and Featherston held on the 10th day of February, 1927, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that Joint Health By-Laws of the said Counties be made under “The Counties Act, 1920” and the “Health Act, 1920,” and the several* Acts amending the same respectively and of every other power enabling them io (ic so' the object and purport of which Joint Health By-Laws are as fallows: — 1. —Ijzerpretct’on of terms anl gen-
2. —Making Regulations as to the erection, alteration, repairing and renewal of buildings, requiring application and plans to he lodged and permit to be obtained in reference thereto; making provision as to minimum area and frontage,, air space, drainage, ventilation, sleeping and living rooms and similar matters, and as to building materials, and fixing scale of fees. 3. —Regulating the structure and cleansing of privies. 4. —Making regulations as to the sanitation and drainage of premises. 5. —Regulating the Construction letting and use of lodging houses and providing for their registration. 6. —Providing for the Registration of Eating houses. 7. —Regulating the situation, construction and sanitation of stables, pigsties and poultry houses; the keeping of Pigs, dogs and poultry, and the disposal of dead animals. 8. —Making provision as to the cleansing of premises, disposal of rubbish and other matters affecting sanitation.
9.—Prescribing the penalties for the breaches of any of the By-Laws. The said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a Meeting of the said Delegates to be held at the Office of the Masterton County Council, Chapel Street, Masterton, at noon on MONDAY, the 14th dav of March, 1927.
A copy of the proposed Special Order and By-Laws is deposited at the Office of the Akitio County Council, Pongaro*a; at the Office of the Pahiatua County Council, Pahiatua; at the Office of the Eketahuna County Council, Eketahuna; at the Office of the Mauriceville County Council, Mauriceville; at the Office of the Castlepoint County Council, Tinui; at the Office the Masterton County Council, Masterton; at the Office-of the Wairarapa South County Council, Carterton; and. at the Office of the Featherston County Council, Martinborough; where the same will be open for Public Inspection during Office' hours until the said confirming Meeting is held.
