MEETING OF DRUIDS’ LODGE.
OLD AGE PENSION SCHEME
INAUGURATED
The fortnightly meeting of Stonehenge Lodge was held last night, A.D. Bro. A. Rayne presiding over a good attendance of members. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £2O 3s 6d were passed for payment.
An invitation was received from Ruahine Lodge (Dannevirke) to attend their next meeting, the occasion being the twenty-fourth anniversary of the Lodge.
One friend was proposed for membership and three friends were initiated into the Order. Arch Druid Bro. Rayne, assisted by P.D.P. Bro. C. H. Anderson, conducted the ceremony. It was resolved to inaugurate an old age pension scheme.
Practice for the ritual shield compe tition is to commence at once. Bros C. Anderson and A. Russell, P.O.P.’> were elected as judges from the Lodge.
