Bert Hinkler is making plans to fly on a light aeroplane to- Australia. He intends to use a two-seater light machine fitted with a sixty horsepower engine.—(A. and N.Z.). DE PINEDO'S VENTURE. DEPARTING FROM CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. (Received Sunday, 11.5 p.m.). LONDON, February 20. News comes from Praiia (Cape Verde Islands) that De Pinedo, the Italian airman, intends to fly from that point to Port Natal. He expected to start ar. 11 o’clock on Saturday night.—(A. and N.Z.).
