The Prime Minister (the Right Hon. J. G. Coates) received a civic reception in the Town Hall at Auckland last night, when he was given an enthusiastic welcome after his tour abroad. Mr G. Baildon (Mayor of Auckland) presided. Mr. Coates expressed confidence that Britain was regaining her place as the principal manufacturing country of the world. Britain had hail a bad time, but was fast recovering.
