QUEENSLAND FLOODS.
HEAVY DEATH BOLL AND LOSSES WEATHER NOW FINE. (Received Wednesday, 8.15 p.m.) BRISBANE, February 16. The revised flood death roll places the total at thirty-six. One authority at Cairns estimated the loss of sugar at approximately £600,000. The weather is now fairly fine. All shipping on the coast has been accounted for. Mails and provisions will be conveyed to some inland towns by air.—(P.A.)
