Mr. T. O’Brien, of the Masterton branch of the Publij Trust Office, will leave Masterton next Wednesday on transfer to Taihape. Mr. S. L. P. Free, S.M., who underwent a serious operation at Christchurch a month ago, hopes to return to Masterton shortly.

The funeral of the late Afiss Alary •Cummins took place yesterday morning. There was a large attendance of mourners and numerous floral tributes were received. The ceremony at the graveside was performed by the Right Bev. Afonsignor AfcKenna V.G., assisted by the Rev. Father Alark O’Leary., The pall bearers were Messrs F. Shearer, R. Graham, J. Clark, V. Taplin, Edgar Williams and Thomas Kerins..
