SHOW ENTRIES.

BIG INCREASE IN MAIN CLASSES HNAh ARRANGEMENTS IN HAND. Complete entries are now in hand for the Masterton Show, save in Ute caee of the minor classes of fruit, vegetables and flowers. As will be seen from the detailed figures which appear .below, a considerable advance has been made in the main classes as compared with last year. The secretary and officials of the A. and P. Association are busily engaged in completing and perfecting the arrangements for what everyone expects to be a highly successful Show. IVritay figures in the several classes! t*his year and last year are as follow:—<

MACHINERY AND MOTORS. Merchants as well farmers are intent on making good use of such opportunities as the Show affords. In tho industrial sections there will be very fine displays of machinery, accessories, grain, seeds and many other things of Interest to farmers. It is stated also that there will be wonderful displays of motor ears,, with every English an 1 American make well represented. Stands have been provded in which tho motors and other exhibits may be displayed conveniently and to the best advantage. Trains to and from the north and south will run at convenient intervals on People’s Day. The Ram Fair will be held on February 17 and 18, exceptionally heavy entries having been received. Mr. R. H. Wililams, secretary (Box 40, Masterton) will be pleased to supply information in regard to the Show or accommodation in Masterton during the Show and Ram Fair period.
