TYNESIDE SALE. The W.F.C.A. Ltd., report: At Tynesidq, on Monday we offered a good yarding of sheep, and report a good clearance at late rates as follows: 109 2-th ewes, account S. Ashton, 23/; 89 do., account J. Bannister, 21/4; 85 4 find 6-th do., 20/8; 100 2-th ewes, account Tyneside, 21/9; 70 m.a. ewes, 14/; 199 2-th wethers, account Kumukumu, 21/10; 233 do., account J. Bannister, 20/7; 63 do., account S. Ashton, 20/; 200 shorn wether lambs, account Tyneside, 15/8; 139 do., account S. Ashton, 15/7; 313 do., account J. Bannister, 15/1; small lambs, 7/. MASTERTON SALE. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-oper-ative Distributing Co., Ltd., report on their Masterton sale as follows: We had a fair yarding of sheep, which was submitted to a good attendance of buyers. Competition at auction was inclined to drag somewhat, and taken all round values were easier than the previous sale. The following were our sales: 301 mixed aged ewes, 18/2; 75 wether lambs, medium, 12/; 93 medium ewe lambs, 12/1; 7 woolly iambs, 16/3; 32 small b.f. lambs, 10/3; 107 cull lambs, 8/9; 4 cull wethers, 15/; 17 cull ewes, 7/7. The W.F.C.A. Ltd., report: At Masterton a small yarding of sheep and a few pens of cattle were'disposed of as follows: 134 b.f. rape lambs, 18/9; 136 4-year ewes, 19/; 27 fat ewes, 16/; 18 store do., 12/; 5 forward bullocks (coloured), £5 ss; 11 heifer steers, bad colours, £3; 3 yearling heifers, 30/. Wright Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report: Wc offered a medium yarding of sheep and cattle to a fair attendance. Sheep met with a dull sale’, and we had to pass in three or four pens of wethers. Cattle sold on a pan with late sales. Following are our prices: 2-th ewes, 20/6; fat eows, £4 10/ to £5 5/; fat heifers, £5; forward steers, £4 6/. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: At Masterton on Wednesday a small yarding of sheep was submitted to the usual attendance. Competition was dull, a large portion of the yarding being of inferior quality, prices realised being as follows: Small 2-th wethers, 15/2 to 18/; fat ewes, 13/3 to 17/; cull ewes, 2/6 to 7/. I
PAHIATUA RAM FAIR. Dalgety and Cq, Ltd., Masterton, report on the annual ram fair held at Pahiatua on Monday, as follows: There was a large gathering of farmers. Although prices were not up to the standard of last year, a satifactory clearance was effected as follows: Romney rams, 8 at 3) ■gns., 2 at 4 gns, 8 at 3 gns., 5 at 21 gns; Southdown rams, 9 gns to 6J gns., aged S.D. rams, If gns. PAHIATUA SALE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: At Pahiatua on Tuesday the usual weekly stock sale was held, when a good yarding of sheep was submitted to a large attendance of buyers. Following is the range of prices: Good b.f. rape lambs, 18/ to 18/5; medium b.f. Jambs, 15/2 to 15/7; small b.f. lambs, 12/2, 11/3. to 8/6; small w.f. lambs, 10/6. The W.F.C.A. Ltd., report: At Pahiatua on Tuesday we offered a good yarding of all classes of sheep to a good attendance of buyers. Included in the offering were some first-class lines of wethers, and shorn lambs, which made full values. We report: 74 2-th wethers, 21/4; 73- do., 21/; medium *do«, to 19/; 106 shorn wether lambs, 15/6; 176 de., 13/5; 55 b.f. do., 16/2; medium woolly do., 9/11 to 14/4; small do., 5/, 8/1 to 8/6; s.m. ewes, 10/.
