MASTERTON SHOW.
MANY ATTRACTIONS. As the entries received for the Masterton Show, to be held at Solway on February 15 and 16, are the largest recorded for a long period of years, and the exhibitors include the most noted breeders in the North Island, it is anticipated that the gathering will be one of tho oust Anding successes of the society’s history. A wonderful array of stud stock will gladden the eye of the farmer, breeder, and the general public. The ring events will doubtless prove of exceptional interest. In tho jumping events there are nearly 140 entries, some of the competitions having attracted over twenty horses. The charming surroundings, the beautiful native bush, and the modern appointments . brand tho showgrounds as an ideal locality for a picnic. A convenient train service, north and south, will ■run on People’s Day. Competitors and the general public are notified that judging in the light horse events will commence punctually at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. The dog trials will commence at 9 a.m. on Tuesday in a paddock on the Carterton Road, close to the showgrounds, kindly lent for the occasion by Messrs J. and G. Judd.
