CLAIMS FOR MOTOR BUSES.

CASES IN CHRISTCHURCH. ACTION UNDER MOTOR BUS . TRAFFIC ACT. CHRISTCHURCH, February 7. Before Mr. Justice Adams and Mr. W. Hayward, assessor for the Tramway Board, and Mr. W. D. Berry, assessor for the bus owners, claims under 'the Motor Omnibus Traffic Act were heard to-day. The claims against the board were by Dixon and Munnerley, £l4OO, for one bus; G. Lowis, £723 JJ5s, for each of two -20-seater buses; W. G. Sanders, £1450 for one 26-seater, and £1450 for one 23-seater bus.

The awards were: To Dixon and MunnA’ley £1043, to G. Lowis £1244, and to W. C. Sanders £1996.—(P.A.)
