TE KUITI MEETING. CUP WON BY DAY GUARD. TE KUITI, February 5. The annual meeting opened in fine weather. The totalisator handled £15,423 compared with. £19,044 for the first day last year. Results:—

GISBORNE CONCLUDES. HANDICAP TO SCOTCH MIXTURE. GISBORNE, February 5. The second day of the Gisborne Racing Club’s summer meeting was held in ideal weather. The course was very fast. The totalisator investments for the day were, £13,645, compared with £14,827 for the second day last year. The amount for the two days totalled £25066, a decrease of £2229.
