SATURDAY’S RESULTS.

“HAT TRICK” TO' GEE.

The senior competition match between Old Boys and Martinborough was resumed at the Memorial Park on Saturday under perfect cricket conditions, and resulted in a three-point win for Old Boys. Martinborough, continuing their first innings from the preceding Saturday, carried,, their total to 148 before the last wicket fell. Wall and Cameron batted aggressively, and hit out at everything sent down by the bowlers.

Old Boys, in their second visit to the wickets, compiled 109 for the loss of three wickets. Law batted patiently for 57 not out, while Judd and McMichael batted crisply for their runs.

With an hour and a half left for play, and with 200 runs behind, Martinborough were set a stupendous task. They failed miserably in their effort, and were all dismissed for 51.
