THE TE AUTE HERD. SUCCESSES AT FEILDING SHOW. Mr. W. T. Williams, of_ Pukehou, Hawke’s Bay, at the Feilding Show, held tfifs week, .secured first and champion with his imported Jersey bull Sybil’s Gamboge Dreadnought, a son of the noted bull, Sybil’s Gamboge, "who changed hands twice for the sum of £13,000. He is a gold and silver medal sire,' and now has 105 tested daughters, fifty-two being in the register of merit. In the Jersey cow class, Mr. Williams secured first and champion, with Holl? Oak Annie, besides gaining a second prize in the yearling bull class. In the class for two-year-old heifers, Te Aute Tiny was awarded first prize. Holly Oak Annie, besides holding the championship for production in the British Empire with a record of 1056.49 pounds of butter-fat and 18,522.71 b of milk in 365 days, is able to hold her own in the show ring, having won the championships at Palmerston North and Feilding. Her daughter, Te Aute Annie, is doing very well under test as a junior two-year-old, giving 601 b of butter-fat per month and promising a i record of over 6001 b of butter-fat. She qualified in 127 days. Her average for the first 166 days was 6.2 per cent.
