BIG HOLIDAY ATTRACTIONS!

The current programme at the Cosy Theatre includes Anita Stewart in her splendid film effort "Mary Regan." This is a Bplendid forceful drama, portraying the environment of underworld life, and showing how a girl rose from its midst and braved the elements of the outer world alone. Charlie Chaplin, in "Tho Shopwalker," causes hosts of merriment, while exc.tement in plenty is provided in another chapter of "Stingaree." Saturday's big feature change will rocludo H. B. Warner in his great Sextelart feature "The Pagan," in which ho scores a great triumph. There will be a matinee on Saturday-at 2.30.

Sessuo Hayakawa scores a big hit in "The Courageous Coward" now showing at the Paramount Theatre. The story is an intricate and exciting one, and relates how a Japanese beauty was falsely led in crook American society. But there is a grand redemption and expiation is extracted, Sessue Hayakawa performing splendidly as the eleventh hour hero. "The Fighting Trail," which is nearing the end, is at present showing in a most exciting chapter. A good tworeel comedy and a Gazette completo an excellent programme. For Saturday the big detective sensation, "Tho Million Dollar Sensation," will be" one of the main attractions. There will be a matinee on Saturday afternoon.

Commencing on Good Friday n'ght the all-star Wm. Fox feature film "Pu Barry" will open a three nights' season at tho Opora House. This story is well-known to New Zealand theatre-goers, having been played here with groat success by Nellie Stewart. The play is full of action throughout, and has a splendid romance interwoven that finds great popularity among the ladies. This film has been drawing considerable business wherever shown and is bound to attract big audiences here. A strong supporting programme will inotude the latest Sunshine comedy "Oh, What a (K)night."
