ROYAL SYDNEY SHOW
NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES,
(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Australian-N.Z. Cable Association.) Received Last Night, 9.30 o'clock. SYDNEY, March 31. Awards for four-year-old Clydesdales at the Royal Sydney Show include Mr. Stake's "Scotland's Peer," champion, and Messrs Gillies and Walters' " Buckley vie's Choice," second and reserve champion; Mr. Henison's "Invermay,'' third. All were bred in New Zealand. At the show cattle sales the demand was limited owing to the drought, and prices generally were below recent averages, with occasional high figures. The top price was 720 guineas, paid for a Shorthorn bull. The New Zealand consignment of Shornhorn bulls sold on behalf of the McNab Estate and Mr. D. Wright ranged from 25 to 100 guineas. Beef cattle sold on behalf of Messrs Dalzicll Brothers, of New Zealand, ranged from 70 to 155 guineas.
