ißy Telegraph—Pi «?83 Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. The largest stop-work meeting of waterside workers ever held in Auckland took placo to-day, and occupied two hours. The report by tho delegates on the agreement made with tho employers at tho Wellington Conference is being considered. It is practically certain that tho secret ballot will ratify the agreement. DUNEDIN, Last Night. Tho waterside workers, at a stopwork meeting, considered the new agreement. It is understood that the men 'are favourable to accepting the terms agreed upon at the recent conference, but official information is not available. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The meeting of the Wellington Union was held in the Grand Opera House this morning, and was very largely attended. Work on the wharf was suspended. The report of the delegates to the National Conference was adopted. It was decided to take a ballot to-morrow and on Thursday on the question of the acceptance or rejection of the agreement.
