The Rev. D. C. Bates wired la.it night: ; — Little change in the atmospheric pressure has taken place oyer the Dominion, but a depression has been located southward. Southerly breezes and fair to cloudy weather have predominated, but high and squally westerly winds have been experienced about Fouveaux Strait. Present indications arc for moderate to strong southerly winds, veering io freshening westerly shortly in ar.d southward of Cook Strait. Expect cloudy to overcast conditions, with scattered showers, particularly in southern districts. Barometer unsteady, with a rising tendency.
