THE PRINCE'S VISIT
THE OFFICIAL PROGRAMME.
The following letter has been received by his Worship the Mayor (Mr W. H. Jackson),: in. connection with the v ; *it of the Prince of Wales to Mas^^yn: — "tVith reference to the programme submitted as the result of the conference between Captain Tahu Rhodes and yourself for His Royal Highness's. reception at Maßterton, viz. 1. On arrival of the train the Band plays the National Anthem. 2. His Royal Highness to be received by his Worship the Mayor and local officials. 3. His Royal Bigness to drive to the public park. 4. Royal Salute as His Royal Highness takes his place on the dais. Flag unfurled. 5. Children's address read and presented by the Mayor. 6. His Royal Highness reads his reply. 7. Presentation of decorations to Returned Soldiers. 8. His Royal Highness inspects the parade. 9. The planting of a Royal oak. 10. His Royal Highness returns to the dais. The Royal Salute. 11. Hia Royal Highness leaves straight for the railway station, , I have to advise that this in approved. For your the train conveying His Royal Highness i will now arrive at Mastertou at 11.35 a.m. and depart at 12.20 p.m. on "fljursday, Bth May. Your 3, etc., 'fife F. H. D.
