TO-DAY'S WEATHER

The Rev. D. C. Bates wired last night:—The pressure is now above normal over the Dominion, and fair to cloudy weather is reported generally, and southerly winds have predominated, but with decreasing force. A westerly low pressure area, apparently of small dimensions, has been in evidence to the southward to-day. Present indications are for strong and variable winds, south-west to south-easterly predominating. Weather cloudy and unsettled at time with cold and scattered showers, especially in southern districts. Barometer unsteady, falling temporarily, but probably rising again shortly..
