The New York Times Ottawa correspondent states that Hon. Mr Ballantyne has announced the demobilisation of all the, Canadian Navy officers and naval ratings, in order that the service may be reorganised on a pre-war basis. He said that the adoption of a permanent naval policy had been deferred pending the forthcoming Imperial Conference. Canada hag accepted Britain's presentation of a light cruiser and two destroys, replacing the Niobe and the Rainbow.
