Mrs R. E. Bunny, of Dannevirke, is visiting Wellington.
Mrs Mawley, of "Ditton," Masterton, is staying in Wellington.
Mrs D. G. Speedy and Miss Speedy, of Dannevirke, are visiting Wellington.
Miss Hilda Laurenson, who has been visiting in the Wairarapa, has returned to Wellington.
Mrs Fitchett, of Auckland, intends leaving for a visit to Wellington and the Wairarapa at the end of the month.
Miss WV M. Mather, late of the Kelburn school, now at .Greytown school, has received advice that she has passed her B.A. degree.
The engagement is announced of Mr Percy Cooper, only son of Mr and Mrs W. Cooper, of Masterton, to Miss Mary Morrison, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Morrison, of "Glenmovern," Greytown.
