Winston Church'll stated that the quest-on of battle clasps was being investigated. He expressed the opinion that ten named battle clasps ought to cover the war in France, and two or three for the other theatres. They had to deal with six or seven million medals. He could not undertake that the medala should be kept back until the clasps were completed.
