It is intended to exhibit a few of the Shorthorns at Western Canadian shows next season. It is the young owner's intention to add Percheron horses, which are now in the boom in America, to the breeds of sheep and cattle mentioned. Mr Carlyle, who has been directing the buying, is a Canadian farmer and farm manager of wide experience, graduate of Ontario Agricultural College, and wa3 for a period Professor of Animal Husbandry at lowa Agricultural College, and later director and head of the Colorado Agricultural College.
