Owing to the recent landslide, the Panama Canal is temporarily closed to heavy draught vessels. ( No official information of tho stoppage has been received, and it is therefore assumed that the Canal will be cleared before tho "Renown" arrives.

It is not likely that tho Prince of Wales' programme will be affected.
