SINGULAR APPEAL

A singular application was made in the criminal Appeal Court, on-behalf of the man Holt, who is awaiting execution for murder.

Hig counsel sought permission for a surgical operation to ascertan if Holt was suffering from disease of the brain, rendering him irresponsible.

The Court demanded further evidence to prove" that the disease, if present, produced irresponsibility.
