CONFERENCE OF TRIBUNALS. Members of the Board of Trade met in conference on Thursday the chairmen of the Prices Investigating Tribunals appointed under the Board of Trade Act. The functions and duties of' the tribunals were fully discussed, with the view of ensuring a uniform method of working. Districts to be covered by the tribunals were defined as follows: —Wellington, all the territory from Wellington up to Napier on the one coast and New Plymouth on the other. Auckland, the provin* cial district with the addition of Gisborne. Christchurch, all of the South Island north of the Wait&ki river. Dunedin, the territory south of the Waitaki riyer, including Southland.
