DEAD AND WOUNDED ON THE

FRONTIER,

(Received Last Night, 10.15 o'clock.) - NEW YORK, December 30.

Reports from Texas indicate that the northern division of the Mexican Federals was apparently completely defeated, and lied across the American border.

Panic resulted, and the American troops surrounded scores and forced them back across the boundary. It is now reported that four thousand Rebels are scattered in all directions.

There are hundreds of dead and wounded scattered along the frontier.
