SOCIAL NEWS AND FASHIONS.
Mrs Waddington and family are staying in Wellington for the Christmas holidays.
Mr and Mrs iKemball and family left for Auckland, via, Wellington and New Plymouth, by motor car, on ■Christinas morning. They will be away for about fourteen days.
(Mias McKay, of Makuri, is staying with her sister, Mrs. W. Andrew, "Wbai-emouku," Upper Plain.
Dr and Mrs Bett, of Nelson, are spending the holidays with Mrs Mor-r rison, "Blairlogie." • '
iVIr and Mrs C. C. Ross are spending a few weeks in Auckland and Rotoraa.
Dl' and Mrs Beard a<nd the Misses Beard are staying at "Otahuao," for several weeks.
Dr and Mrs Dawson, of Pahiatua, and Mr and Mrs Moodie, of Wellington, are staying with Mrs Meredith, Llandaff.
