CHRISTMAS-AND NEW YEAH HOLIDAYS. The following hours will be observed by the Masterton Post and Telegraph Office on' Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day:— Christmas Day' (Thursday, December 25th) will be observed as, a close holiday in all branches. Mails usually despatched on this day will' be closed to connect with the early trains and coaches at 6.45 a.m. The Telegraph office will be open from 5 p.m. to 5.30. p.m. A' counter delivery of all correspondence will be made on Wednesday evening, 24th inst., between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. On Boxing Day (Friday, December 26th) the office will be open in all branches, except the money order antt Savings Bank department, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. All mails usually despatched on this day will be* closed to connect with the early coaches and trains, at 6.45 a.m. The 'Telegraph Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to midnight. New Year's Day will be observed as a close holiday, in all, branches.
