U.A. OFFICERS APOLOGISE

WASHINGTON, December 17

All the officers concerned in the Carabao incident have apologised. The reports on. the banquet will be forwarded to President Wilson, who is being urged to forego the threatened court-martials.

LA number of officers attending a banquet passed jokes and satires at the expense of the Philippinos, causing President Wilson to - withdraw from the honorary membership of the new military order of the Carabao, comprising military officers. who served in the Philippine disturbances succeeding lilie Spanish-American war.
