ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP
(Received December 17, 11 a.m.) LONDON, December 16.
Imnaii has accepted the control of the club's arrangements for the billiard championship.
He complains tllat his efforts to safeguard the English championship and his interests are misunderstood, and adds: "Some forget that this season the championship represents England against Australia, and we are not justified in giving anything away."
Gray plays Reece on 2nd to 7th March, Stevenson plays Gray or Reece on 9th To I4th March, and Inman meets the winner. The preliminary heats will be played between 16th and 28th.
Gray and Newman have signed articles for their match for £250 aside on each game.
