A HEAVY PENALTY
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS,, Last Night,
At the Magistrate's Court, to-day, Edward Lonergan was fined the maximum penalty of £2O for using obscene language in the hearing of women. Magistrate McCarthy said the language would be a disgrace to a pigstye.
