Entries for Piping and Dancing will be received on the Ground. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Events run under rules of Ni. Athletic Union. Permits may be obtained from Mr W. Gillespie, Master ton, or from the Secretary. Winners will be required to produce licenses before the prize money is paid out. No nomination will be accepted on any accoupt without the proper entrance fee. Nominations fori, 4, 5, 6, 7/8, 9, 10 and 11 close with the Secretary (Mr D. W. Wilton)-at Pahiatua on SATURDAY, 6tli December, at 8 p.m. NOMINATIONS MUST be accompanied by cash or postal notes. All performances for the past two years must be given. If no wins for two years, four last performances must be given. _ Handicaps will appear in the Palriafua Herald on MONDAY, 15th December. Acceptances for events mentioned and entrance for others close on the ground 20 minutes before the race. Protest mijst be made in writing to the Secretary, or the Judge or Judges, within fifteen minutes after the race in dispute together with a deposit of 5 per cent of the amount of stake (minimum ss), which shall be forfeited if the protest be found to be frivilous or vexatious.
