The auxiliary schooner Mary Sachs, which Stefannson thought safe at Colletson's Point, was caught and crashed to pieces in the ice, off the i Coast of Alaska, at the end of November. . ... The provision* and scientific instruments were lost. It is presumed the crew are safe.
