TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. the Eev. D. O. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: Considerable rain has fallen throughout the North Island and in the East Coast districts of the South, and gloomy, misty and foggy conditions have ruled. Strong northeasterly winds have prevailed, and the barometer has remained lowest in the north. ~. Present indications are for further rain and unsettled weather, with strong ' and variable easterly winds changing everywhere shortly to cooler soufnerlies, bringing clearing showers and a rising barometer, but a temporary fall is due in the meantime.
