SCOTT EXPEDITION.
STATEMENT BY CAPTAIN FEXNELL.
Received This Morning, 12.25 o'clock LONDON, December 8.
Captain Fennell, lately master of the Terra Nova, in a letter to the newspapers, states that Commander Evans, Lieutenant Campbell, Dr. Atkinson and other members of the 1910-13 expedition, and also Lady Scott, point out that, however attractive the Stockhouse expedition, they were not aware that Captain Scott proposed plans, excepting those carried out by himself or his lieutenants. He adds that the officers of the expedition protest against the unauthorised .use of their late leader's name.
