TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST.
WELLINGTON,, Last Night. The Rev. D. O. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: — Wind and hazy weather prevalied on Saturday, but cloudiness increased everywhere on Sunday and rain has fallen since in many pjuts. The barometer is' now lowest off East Cape, where a disturbance is at present centred. Present indications are for strong variable winds easterly and southeasterly predominating. The weather is likely to p'roye unsettled j- thick and foggy generally, and very boisterous along the East Coast, and in the northern portions of the North Island, with heavy rain and the rivers rising in those districts. The barometer is unsteady but a further fall is likely to take place everywhere shortly.
