SERIOUS ASSAULTS.
MAN AND WOMAN ARRESTED
(By Telegrav^—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Lasf Night.
A man named Charles Armstrong was arrested yesterday on a charge of assaulting Lena Puttar, at Auckland, so as to cause actual bodily harm.
During a row in a house in Dixon Street last night, a woman named Minnie Brown struck a man named Macintosh, employed as a cook at the Mount Cook > barracks, on the head with a bottle. Macintosh's head was cut about a good deal, and the woman was arrested.
