The wash dn this end is of a more drifty nature than it-has been for some time, and ig blue in colour.. Right in sie corner the shallow ground hai extended further out from the corner and canies practically no wash. If it still continues on at the angle it ia afj present, we will drop a piece of the end of the cut. Everything at the dredge is running well, and although owing to tho strike none of Vthe coal mines are being worked, yet we are fortunately avoll off, having at date still a month' 9 coal in stock, which will keep us going until the Christmas holidays."
