NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. ' ' The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: Conditions have improved generally to-day, although cloudy skies have been much' in evidence, with variable breezes predominating. The barometer, lias risen since yesterday. Present indications' are for a falling'barometer, the winds changing to freshening nortlierlies soon. Cloudy and hazy weathet-is probable, with rain following in'most parts of the country.
