The death occurred at Timaru on Thursday last of Mrs Hiwdcastle, widow of the late Mr Thomas Hardcastle. The deceased lady arrived at Lyttelton with her in the ship Canterbury in Jxily, 1858.
News has been received in Nap:er of the marriage in London of Mrs F. Perry ■ (daughter of Mr G. P. Donnelly)" to Mr Peter Lamorte, of Canada.
The marriage of Miss Ward, daughter of Sir Joseph and Lady Ward, to Mi- Bernard Bedingfield Wood will take -place on Thursday, December 4th, at the, Basilica, Hill street, and later, a reception will be held at "Eecleston," adder's. Hill. —Post. ■■■
